For stays longer than three months, register with Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI). Norway is part of EEA, not EU member state. As EU/EEA national you have right to live, work and study in Norway Irish citizens do not require a visa to enter Norway. Irish passports do not have a minimum validity requirement while travelling within the EU/EEA.
