Important Things to Know

Foreign citizens with Belarusian/Russian visa may enter/leave either country during visa validity (limited border points)

Children aged 15 and under with Belarusian passport holder parent need travel certificate from Belarusian embassy

Must register with authorities if staying more than 10 days - hotels usually arrange, fines for late registration

Land border with Ukraine closed to British nationals, other land borders have restrictions

Must declare cash/travellers cheques over $10,000 USD on entry and cannot take out more than declared
